What We Do and Why

The New Reclaimers create kitchens, furniture and entire interiors from reclaimed materials. The results are superbly designed and crafted items for your home which are also of extremely high environmental integrity. We also run an apprenticeship programme for young men and women who find it difficult getting training and employment. We provide both. They learn a trade and perhaps avoid slipping out of the system; we get to reclaim people as well as old six-panel doors, ships' timbers, snooker tables, roof-tiles, church organs, pews,  and tubas!

FREE NEWSLETTER!

Things at The New Reclaimers have been ridiculously busy this last month or so. We've taken a record number of orders for kitchens, furniture and even an entire house, all to be built from reclaimed materials. We have developed several new designs for furniture and lighting items which we will be revealing very soon.

To add to all of this, we are moving to our new premises in Bristol, where you can explore our Aladdin's cave of a showroom and see our craftspeople in action at the workshop. Here we can only arrange personal visits by appointment, so please e-mail us (see address above) or call Robert on 07852 941184 to book a time. We hope to be opening a further showroom in Bath in the next few months, so watch this space.

In the meantime, please sign up for our newsletter by clicking below and we'll keep you informed of what's going on as we BFG... (blossom, flourish and grow):

THE CURRENT CURIOSITY

What do you think we should do with this oddity? We recycled it out of a private school in a certain local city, where we believe it was originally used to keep all the boys within easy whipping distance of the beaky old schoolmasters in Dickensian days. A prize of a FREE six-panel reclaimed timber cupboard worth £450 for the best suggestion. (Please type 'Dotheboys Hall' in your subject box)
